Job Description
The Accounts Receivable professional will have a variety of duties which involve managing and collecting past due invoices from businesses, ensuring account information is up to date, reconciled, and payments are made promptly.
Responsibilities
- Identifying overdue accounts (Collections)
- Managing high volume inbound and outbound calls to customers ( Calls can range from 15 to 30 )
- Negotiating payment plans
- Communicating with customers to answer billing questions, handle complaints, and recover debts
- Maintaining files on account financial status, and keeping detailed notes of all communications and actions
- Investigating billing issues and disputes in a timely manner
- Developing strategies and implementing plans of action to better serve the customers

Work Environment
Work hours are Monday to Friday, either 8 AM to 5 PM or 9 AM to 6 PM.
The position is in a fast-paced office setting with a HYBRID SCHEDULE (2 days remote and 3 days in-office).
Initial training lasts for 3 weeks and cannot be missed during this period .
The company promotes from within and offers employee events.
This will be a 90 day contract to hire position. After 90 days, you have the opportunity to go directly with the client. Client does have the option to extend the contract period past 90 days as well before converting.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00 / hr.
