Job Title : Credit Analyst
Job Description : As a Credit Analyst, you will play a crucial role in our financial team by analyzing credit data and financial statements to assess the degree of risk involved in extending credit. Your daily responsibilities will include managing open credit accounts and setting up 6-12 new accounts. You will compare similar businesses in terms of liquidity, profitability, and credit histories, request and advise on the maximum amount of credit insurance available, and obtain bank and vendor references as needed.
Key Responsibilities :
- Analyze credit data and financial statements of businesses to identify the degree of risk involved in extending credit.
- Compare similar businesses in terms of liquidity, profitability, and credit histories.
- Request and advise on the maximum amount of credit insurance available for each individual company.
- Obtain bank and vendor references as needed.
- Review agency reserves to confirm balances are sufficient.
- Compile information to ensure all documents have been submitted and applications have been completed.
- Compose reports that detail the degree of risk involved in credit requests and recommend approval or denial based on results.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
