Job Overview :
Our Client is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations and ensure the accuracy of financial reporting
within our healthcare practices. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in fiscal management, general ledger oversight, and month-end close
processes.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee the general ledger, prepare financial schedules, and write journal entries.
- Maintain cash schedules, inspect account statuses, and transfer cash as needed.
- Manage the month-end close process for all practices and management companies.
- Ensure accurate G / L coding on invoices before checks are released.
- Work closely with management to gather necessary financial information and explanations.
- Ensure compliance with Management Services Agreements and accurate accounting for new practices, including opening balance sheets and subsequent adjustments.
- Reconcile all balance sheet accounts monthly and provide supporting details.
- Review monthly financial reporting packages for accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure timely submission of financial reports and respond to inquiries promptly.
- Provide practice-specific financial reports as requested.
- Maintain and ensure the accuracy of fixed asset records, including depreciation.
- Assist in implementing new fixed asset systems and recording discounts / reserves as necessary.
- Support the annual budgeting process for all practices.
- Stay up to date on relevant laws and regulations impacting financial operations.
Qualifications :
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52.88 - $57.69 / hr.
