We are seeking a dedicated Order Entry Representative who will be the first point of contact for customers placing orders. This role involves handling a high volume of quick calls and emails daily, primarily interacting with business-to-business customers. You will resolve any customer questions or issues, focusing on order management and customer service. During peak seasons in spring and summer, call volume can reach up to 90-100 calls a day. You will process all orders over the phone while building rapport with customers.
Responsibilities
Act as the first point of contact for customers placing orders.
Handle a high volume of calls and emails daily, primarily business-to-business interactions.
Resolve customer questions and issues efficiently.
Manage customer service inquiries and process orders over the phone.
Build rapport with customers during interactions.
Work off a queue system using a central number.
Essential Skills
Experience in order entry and customer service.
Proficiency in order processing and Microsoft Office suite.
Ability to multitask effectively.
Great personality and strong interpersonal skills.

Work Environment
This role is based in an onsite office environment, working in a cubicle setting. You will be part of a team of six other Order Entry Representatives, reporting to team leaders. The dress code is business casual, and the working hours are Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. The team culture is very collaborative, offering opportunities for career growth and advancement.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00 / hr.
