Job Description
A personal injury paralegal assists attorneys in handling personal injury cases, which involve claims for injuries or accidents caused by another party.
The role requires a combination of legal knowledge and administrative skills to support attorneys effectively.
Responsibilities
- Assist in Investigations : Gather evidence and documentation such as medical records, accident reports, and witness statements.
- Prepare Legal Documents : Draft and proofread pleadings, motions, and other court-required paperwork.
- Manage Case Files : Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all important information is accurately recorded and easily accessible.
- Coordinate with Medical Providers : Ensure clients are receiving appropriate treatment and manage correspondence with medical professionals.
- Client Communication : Maintain relationships with clients, keeping them updated on case progress and addressing their concerns.
- Trial Preparation : Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, mediations, and depositions.
- Calculate Damages : Assess past and future medical expenses, loss of earnings, and pain and suffering.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00 / hr.
