We are seeking an experienced Print Shop Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day activities of our print shop. This individual will be responsible for leading and managing a team of print shop associates, ensuring all printed materials meet quality standards, maintaining and troubleshooting printing equipment, and developing and implementing efficient workflows. Additionally, they will manage budgets, control costs, monitor inventory levels, train and mentor staff on print production processes, and ensure safety protocols are followed. Analyzing production data and generating reports, as well as developing and maintaining relationships with vendors and suppliers, are also key responsibilities of this role.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this position, applicants must have a bachelor's degree in marketing or design, or equivalent experience, along with 3-5 years of demonstrated print shop/mail room experience. Direct supervision experience is highly desired, and at least two years of supervisory experience is required. Leadership, team management, quality assurance, troubleshooting, workflow development, budget management, inventory management, training and mentoring, safety compliance, data analysis, and vendor relationship management skills are essential for this role.
