Job Description :
The Procurement Specialist / Buyer I is responsible for :
- Purchasing and negotiating materials, equipment, and supplies from vendors.
- Evaluating vendor quotes and services to determine the most desirable suppliers.
- Negotiating directly with vendors to get the best possible pricing and payment options.
- Overseeing operational tasks related to purchase orders including : follow-ups on exceptions, mitigation of delivery problems, maintaining purchase system lead-time settings, and contributing to lead time estimates in actual cases.
- Handling correspondence concerning over-shipments, delivery shortages, changes in quantity, delivery dates, and prices.
- Reporting any changes in quantity, delivery dates, and prices to interested parties in a timely manner.

Monday-Friday, 8 : 00am-4 : 30pm
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $29.00 / hr.
