One of our largest eCommerce/tech clients in hiring multiple Program Managers to support the Market Enablement team to enable Student Programs to hire at scale. Role will be hybrid onsite in Arlington, VA.

Description:

  • Responsible for the coordination and completion of project/program. Oversees all aspects of projects. Sets deadlines assigns responsibilities and monitors and summarizes progress of project/program. Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project/program. May require a bachelor's degree and 4-7 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts practices and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.

About the team:

  • The Market Enablement team manages programs to enable Student Programs to hire at scale.
  • We work with stakeholders within and outside of the organization to collect headcount needs and translate those into actionable requisitions.
  • Our processes drive the recruiting work of our Student Programs Recruiting Teams globally.
  • The Evaluation Enablement team manages programs to enable Student Programs to hire at scale. We work with stakeholders within and outside of the organization to define interview models and ways to improve our processes to hire top student talent.
  • An ideal candidate will be expected to manage their own projects from inception to completion. They will be expected to adopt our ways of working including creating work back plans, document writing, and project documentation.
  • Work will be tracked in Asana with documentation in quip and/or wiki as appropriate.
  • This candidate will schedule meetings with stakeholders as needed to gather inputs and feedback to contribute to their work.
  • There will be some regular meetings. An ideal candidate will be self-driven and able to identify what steps need to be taken to accomplish their project objectives.

Job Opening 1:

  • We need someone who can take existing documentation and create ways to improve it to increase our stakeholders self-serve options.
  • This person will think of creative solutions and look for opportunities to automate and scale (for example, introducing a chat bot).
  • An ideal candidate will be able to seek input from stakeholders and work independently on recommendations for solutions, ultimately implementing the solution chosen.

Job Opening 2:

  • An ideal candidate will have process improvement experience (e.g., Six Sigma) to identify where to simplify, automate, or offshore work that is repetitive.
  • This person will need to be able to dig into processes and identify excess or waste.
  • We will need someone who can quantify improvements through cost savings, improvements in defects, etc.
  • This person will independently identify areas of opportunity and partner with subject matter experts to create and implement solutions.

Job Opening 3:

Requirements:

  • 3-4 years of experience within Program management
  • Advanced Excel skills- should be able to make reports, visuals, and know commonly used formulas
  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • Six Sigma (Lean/Green Belt)
  • Coding/automation experience
  • Process improvement experience
