Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or any other related field of study
4 years' experience in general ledger accounting
Experience with bank reconciliations, account reconciliations, and working with all three financial statements
Experience with consolidating financial statements.
Experience with intercompany transactions nice to have!
Job Description :
The Sr. Accountant works with a high degree of independence in performing accounting and financial activities for the company. The role requires strong analytic and reasoning skills to determine the best outcome when faced with uncertainty. You will apply generally accepted principles of accounting to analyze financial information and will be responsible for making the requisite journal entries and preparing account reconciliations to prepare accurate and complete financial statements.
Responsibilities include :
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reports.
- Analyze quarterly consolidated financial statements.
- Analyze quarterly and monthly reports, including sales and reserves.
- Prepare financial budgets and forecasts.
- Perform Balance Sheet reconciliations and accrual calculations.
- Document significant variances.
- Develop automated accounting applications to increase productivity.
- Maintain compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Meet all financial reporting deadlines.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial close processes.
- Document policies, procedures, and workflows.
- Contribute to special projects.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00 / hr.
