Senior Corporate Tax Accountant
Aston Carter is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join a fast-growing, industry leader, in West Palm Beach.
Job Description
- Prepare and review complex federal and state corporate tax returns
- Prepare and review ASC 740 provision, deferred analysis, and related footnote disclosures
- Assist in the preparation and review of the state of quarterly tax journal entries and account reconciliations
- Evaluate tax assessments and exemptions
- Assist with tax authority notices and / or audits as needed
- Assists in the completion of relevant domestic tax filing obligations, filings related to government-required tax accounting disclosures
- Assists in the gathering of data necessary for audits by governmental tax units, data used in the tax compliance process
- Performs general research on tax issues
- Utilize Microsoft Excel, Corptax, ProSystems, Axcess, and SAP software
