Aston Carter is seeking a highly skilled Workday Configuration Specialist to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for configuring and customizing Workday modules (HCM, Compensation, Absence, Payroll, Benefits) to meet the needs of clients across various industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and customize Workday modules to ensure seamless integration with client systems
- Provide day-to-day Workday support, troubleshooting issues, and resolving configuration challenges
- Conduct regular system audits to ensure data integrity and compliance with organizational standards
- Develop test plans and conduct testing for Workday changes, including patches, upgrades, and new feature rollouts
- Coordinate with end-users and stakeholders during testing phases to gather feedback and ensure successful deployment
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of configurations, processes, and updates
- Provide training and knowledge transfer to team members and end-users as needed
- Act as a liaison between technical and functional teams to translate business needs into effective configurations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in Workday Configuration and administration, including HCM, Compensation, Payroll, Absence, Time Tracking, and Benefits Module
- Workday Pro Certification(s) preferred
- Strong analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills
- Excellent planning, organization, and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, matrixed team environment
