Aston Health is a premier healthcare organization with over 48 Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs) across Florida. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Human Resources to lead HR initiatives at our Corporate Office and drive the workforce excellence across our network of facilities.
About the Role
As the Director of Human Resources, you will play a critical leadership role, overseeing HR strategy, compliance, talent acquisition, employee relations, and organizational development. You will be a strategic partner to senior leadership, ensuring that our HR policies align with business objectives while fostering a positive, compliant, and high-performing workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Leadership
Develop and execute HR strategies that align with Aston Health’s mission, vision, and business objectives.
Partner with executive leadership to drive workforce planning, engagement, and retention strategies.
Lead HR policy development, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws.
Employee Relations & Compliance
Serve as the primary HR advisor for corporate and facility HR teams, handling escalated employee relations matters.
Ensure adherence to EEO, FLSA, ADA, FMLA, and other regulatory requirements.
Lead investigations related to workplace concerns, performance management, and compliance issues.
Training & Organizational Development
Implement leadership development programs to nurture internal talent.
Conduct HR training for facility administrators, managers, and HR teams on best practices and compliance.
Foster a culture of continuous learning, diversity, and employee engagement.
Compensation, Benefits & HR Systems
Oversee payroll, benefits administration, and employee recognition programs.
Evaluate compensation structures to ensure competitive and equitable pay practices.
Manage HRIS systems, ensuring accurate record-keeping and reporting.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5 years of progressive HR leadership experience, preferably in healthcare, SNF, or LTC environments.
- Extensive knowledge of employment laws, labor regulations, and HR best practices.
- Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Experience with HRIS systems, workforce planning, and employee engagement strategies.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with executives, administrators, and frontline staff.
