RN UNIT MANAGER
We are seeking an experienced RN Unit Manager to lead and support our nursing team while ensuring excellence in resident care. The RN Unit Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a designated unit within the facility. This role ensures that residents receive quality care while maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards. The RN Unit Manager will provide leadership to nursing staff, coordinate patient care plans, and work closely with other departments to enhance overall facility performance.
RN Unit Manager Responsibilities :
- Supervise and lead nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, ensuring quality care delivery.
- Oversee resident assessments, care plans, and documentation to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor and address changes in residents’ conditions, ensuring appropriate interventions are in place.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide training, and mentor nursing staff to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Ensure proper infection control practices and safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Address resident and family concerns with professionalism and empathy, promoting a positive experience.
- Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives to improve resident outcomes.
- Maintain accurate medical records, incident reports, and ensure timely documentation in accordance with facility policies.
- Assist with staffing and scheduling to ensure adequate coverage on the unit.
- Enforce facility policies and procedures while maintaining a positive and collaborative work environment.
