What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bilingual Trauma Recovery Clinician position at Astor Services For Children & Families?
As a Trauma Recovery Clinician at Astor Services, you will provide specialized therapeutic support to children and families affected by trauma. Your work will be immensely challenging, but also personally and professionally rewarding. You will conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions, utilizing trauma-informed care practices. You will also be involved in conducting assessments, delivering evidence-based interventions, and participating in case consultations and team meetings. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans to help clients heal and rebuild their lives.
You must have:
· Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
· Current licensure or eligibility for licensure in New York state – LMSW (or Limited Permit), LCSW, LMHC.
· Specialized training and experience in trauma-informed care and therapy.
· Strong understanding of trauma and its impact on children and families.

· Excellent assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills.
· Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
· Empathetic personality and dedication to helping families heal from trauma.
· Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
Job Responsibilities:
