Astoria Marketplace is seeking and accepting applications for a Part Time Cashier position.
Requirements
- · Minimum one-year experience as a cashier in a supermarket environment.
- Must be familiar with POS system .
- Must be able to take phone orders and do online orders when needed and required.
- Greet Customers when entering and leaving the establishment.
- Responsible for ringing and packing orders for customers.
- Basic math skills, count cash register at the beginning of their shift.
- Accurately collect proper payment and provide change.
- Lifting up to 50 lb.
- Bending, twisting, pulling, & reaching.
- Able to stand for long periods of time.
- Applicants must be comfortable working with food
- Provide excellent Customer Service and always maintaining a positive demeanor.
- Maintain a clean and organized work place.
- Other duties may be assigned as required , depending upon the available time ,business volume and other criteria as determined by your supervisors.
- Maintain a regular and punctual attendance.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 per hour
