Duties
- Assist the lead teacher in preparing and delivering instructional materials.
- Support students in their learning activities, ensuring they understand the material.
- Help manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive atmosphere conducive to learning.
- Provide care and supervision during classroom activities, breaks, and transitions.
- Assist with the implementation of behavior management strategies to promote positive interactions among students.
- Collaborate with teachers to assess student progress and adapt instructional methods as needed.
- Engage with students in a nurturing manner, promoting their emotional and social development.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
Requirements
- Experience in caregiving or early childhood education is required.
- Level I or higher Teaching Assistant certification and all required workshops by hire date.
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques and classroom management skills.
- Familiarity with childhood development principles and practices.
- Experience working with children, including those with disabilities, is highly desirable.
- Previous experience as a nanny or in similar roles is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers, students, and parents.
