This position is responsible for sales to enterprise level commercial customers, including large business customers of both internet & telephone services. This includes proactively identifying new customer sales opportunities, defining customer needs, preparing proposals, and closing deals.\n The primary position responsibilities will include, but are not limited to : \n\nConduct proactive sales activities, including cold-calling and knocking on doors, proactive needs assessment, applications development, proposal presentation, order negotiation and post-sales service requirements\nNegotiate to secure contracts with telecommunications decision makers in order to achieve revenue growth and retention.\nManage installation projects with various teams to ensure on-time delivery, successful turn-up and customer satisfaction\nRespond to requests from customers for information, support, assistance, joint proposals, pricing, etc.\nRespond to demand sales requests\nSupports others within the sales / service team to achieve customer satisfaction\n\n Our ideal candidate will possess : \n\nDemonstrated success in telecommunications and internet sales to end-user customers, including strategic and large business customers and government accounts using relationship management and system sales concepts\nAbility to sell to C level executives within an organization\nExperience in systems selling, consultative sales techniques, customer needs analysis, sales opportunity development, and service improvement planning.\nTechnical skills related to network and transmission design and local access services\nProduct knowledge of both switched and dedicated services, as well as associated end-user and carrier applications\nOperational understanding of telecommunications ordering, provisioning, and billing processes\nWorking knowledge of general marketing principle tools and processes\nSkills necessary for decision making and maintaining customer retention\nStrong interpersonal skills\nMinimum 5 years' experience selling B2B in technology environment\nExceptional presentation, negotiation and closing skills\nSeasoned experience building a base of business\nMust possess a valid driver's license and maintain clean driving record\n\n Education\n\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent required\n2-4 year College degree or equivalent experience preferred\n\n \n We're Proud to Offer a Comprehensive Benefits Package Including : \n\n401k with employer match\nInsurance options including : medical, dental, vision, life and STD insurance\nPaid Time Off / Vacation : 80 hours per year and increases based on tenure with the organization (

The base pay range represents the low and high end of the hiring range for this job. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to relevant skills, experience, and capabilities. It is specific to New York and may not be applicable to other locations.\n Commissions at plan : Targeted commissions at full attainment are thirty-two thousand, four hundred dollars.
