Your Role:
As a Security Technician at Astra, you will:
- Install, program, and maintain cutting-edge security systems following Astra Standards and Processes.
- Showcase your expertise by professionally demonstrating and training customers on system functions.
- Deliver top-notch customer service tech support, ensuring high-quality and reliable assistance.
- Stay up to date with the latest technology, applying new knowledge to enhance your job performance.
- Collaborate with team members, utilizing technical resources and support personnel efficiently.
- Participate in community service, team-building events, and marketing initiatives sponsored by Astra.
- Contribute to achieving Astra’s Mission, Vision, and Values by assisting other departments and completing assigned tasks.
Qualifications:
- Maintain client privacy and uphold personal professionalism consistently.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude towards team members and customers.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a dedicated work ethic.
- Possess a valid state driver’s license without restrictions.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to work independently and proactively with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to complete required certifications and licenses, with expenses covered by Astra.
- Ability to pass a state and federal background check
Physical Requirements:
- Safely lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Engage in various physical activities, including standing, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crawling, and reaching.
- Flexibility to work in different positions, climb ladders/scaffolding, and navigate through attics and crawl spaces.
- Vision abilities including close, distance, peripheral, depth, and color.
- Exposure to moderate to loud noise levels and outside weather elements.
- Drive a motor vehicle day and night for extended periods.
