Job Description :
Building Automation Systems Technicians work as part of a team to install, start-up, repair, and maintain computer-based systems that control and monitor a building's mechanical and electrical equipment, including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) and energy management systems.
Duties / Responsibilities :
- You have expertise in the BAS (Building Automation Systems) field, and possess the ability to load system-level controller software. Additionally, you can carry out basic commissioning and system diagnostics, from system-level controllers to end devices such as sensors, actuators, etc. You are also able to complete all the necessary commissioning documentation and calibrate systems that require basic electronic test equipment.
- You prioritize consistent communication with management, contractors, and customers regarding job progress, including arrival, completion, and issues, to build lasting relationships.
- You will have no issue completing administrative tasks, including but not limited to time sheets, expense reports, and on-site documentation.
- You understand the importance of following all safety standards and attending required safety training. You have a high degree of regard for employee and subcontractor safety.
Job Requirements :
Job Type : Full-time, Non-Exempt
Pay : based on the Union contract from LOCAL 142 between $25 to $50 an hour
