Compensation: $120,000 - $140,000 / year
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analytics Manager in our Data Operations I Team to lead quality and risk adjustment analytic reporting efforts at Astrana Health. This role will be responsible for managing data-driven insights that support quality improvement initiatives, risk adjustment strategies, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, healthcare quality metrics, and risk adjustment methodologies.
What You'll Do
Quality & Risk Adjustment Analytics: Develop dashboards that display key insights from our enterprise Quality and Risk Adjustment Engine. Own the development and enhancement of metrics such as recapture rate, uncaptured RAF, HEDIS gap closures, appointment prioritization lists, etc.
Data Management & Reporting: Oversee the collection, processing, and validation of healthcare data to ensure accuracy and integrity in reporting and data visualization in PowerBI.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that analytics and reporting align with CMS, NCQA, and other regulatory standards for quality and risk adjustment programs.
Performance Monitoring: Track trends and patterns in quality metrics, identifying opportunities for intervention and improvement.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with clinical teams, operations, and leadership to translate data findings into actionable strategies.
Technology & Tools: Utilize SQL, Python, Power BI, Databricks, and other analytical tools to develop dashboards and reports that drive business decisions.
Team Leadership: Mentor and guide a team of analysts, ensuring best practices in data governance and analytical methodologies.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, analytics, statistics, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Strong SQL proficiency and intermediate python knowledge; additional experience with C, C , Java, and/or PySpark preferred.
- Knowledge of professional software engineering practices and best practices for the full software development life cycle (SDLC), including documentation, coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Experience in working with large datasets.
- Experience with cloud-computing platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Experience working in the healthcare industry
- Familiarity with database management systems such as MongoDB or Microsoft SQL Server.
- Familiarity with business intelligence or visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI).
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- 4 years experience in the data and analytics landscape
- 3 years programming experience using version control to manage code changes and contribute to projects.
- 2 years experience in risk adjustment within managed care or value-based care settings.
- This position is remotely based in the U.S.
- The total compensation target pay range for this role is: $120,000 - $140,000. This range represents our national target range for this role.
