The Senior Director of Operations is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing and managing the operational functions of the organization. What You'll Do
- Key Areas of Role Focus
- Leading the department’s operational infrastructure lane, including foundational activities such as provider and beneficiary communications and materials, training, binder/P&Ps, and marketing support, among others
- Overseeing the department’s contracting function, including vendor contracting and invoicing, as well as provider contracting (participant contract infrastructure and preferred contracting activity)
- Leadership & Strategy:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of operations professionals
- Collaborate with executive leadership to define and implement operational strategies aligned with the company’s vision and objectives
- Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and best practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness across all departments
- Operational Management:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of key business functions, ensuring smooth and efficient execution.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational workflows and reduce inefficiencies.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, compliance requirements, and organizational best practices.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve the performance of operational teams.
- Analyze operational data and trends to make data-driven decisions that improve performance.
- Regularly report on operational performance to senior leadership, identifying areas for improvement and recommending solutions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other senior leaders to align operational strategies with broader business goals.
- Support other departments, including sales, marketing, finance, and HR, to streamline operations and enhance company-wide effectiveness.
- Change Management & Innovation:
- Lead and manage change initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and employee buy-in.
- Foster an environment of innovation, identifying opportunities for automation, process improvement, and the adoption of new technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Marketing, Health Services, or related field
- A Master’s degree in a related field preferred
- 10 years of healthcare operations experience, including management experience
- Some experience working in value-based care, working knowledge of ACO programs
- Familiarity with contracting and marketing within the healthcare space
- Ability to succeed in a data-driven, fast-paced, dynamic work environment
Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions
- This is a full-time, remote position. The home office is aligned at 1668 S. Garfield Avenue, Alhambra, CA 91801. We are open to interviewing candidates throughout the United States.
- The total compensation target pay range for this role is between $150,000 - $170,000 annually. This pay range represents our national target range for this role. Total compensation will be evaluated based on experience, certifications, and skillsets.
