We are currently seeking a Structural Designer / Drafter with expertise in Tekla Structures SDS / 2 , and steel detailing to join a dynamic team in Houston, Texas.
Responsibilities
- Develop and prepare detailed structural drawings , plans, and 3D models using Tekla Structures and SDS / 2
- Perform steel detailing , ensuring accurate connection designs and shop drawings for fabrication.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to meet project specifications and design requirements.
- Revise and update existing designs based on client feedback or project changes.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and industry best practices.
- Maintain accurate and organized project records, including CAD files and design documentation.
- Work closely with project managers and engineers to resolve technical challenges and ensure project success.
- Assist in creating construction-ready models and detailing for fabrication and erection processes.
