If you're swift to action, confident to lead, willing to collaborate, and curious about what science can do, then you're our kind of person.About the role of a Public & Government Affairs Manager : Being a part of a broader PAGA team, the PAGA Manager has excellent knowledge about the Polish healthcare system that is being used to : Develop public affairs / government affairs strategy to influence patients’ pathsContribute to multiple Corporate Affairs and communications projects to help AstraZeneca communicate important corporate messages to internal and external partnersContribute to Corporate Governance, helping managers and colleagues resolve more complex Corporate Affairs and communication related issuesContribute to engagements with key internal or external groups, such as sales teams, external charities, industry associations, embassies, government lobbyists and regulatorsBuild and participate in internal and external networks to share information in the legislative, regulatory or public policy arena and disseminate standard methodologies internallyCarry out research , either individually or as part of a team, into more complex areas of government legislation, regulation, managed markets or public policyLiaise with respective business unit(s) brand managers and other internal colleagues to explain how internal or external developments can affect their brands or areas of responsibility and develop communications programs and strategies tied to respective brand strategiesEducation, Qualifications, Skills and Experience Essential Excellent knowledge of the Polish healthcare system & understanding of the policy shaping process both on local and the EU levelStrong communication skills and open-minded attitude2 years of experience in Public / Government Affairs in Pharmaceutical sector, preferably with focus on at least one of the following therapeutic areas : CVRM, respiratory, vaccines, oncology, rare diseasesProven track record of planning and / or executing Public Affairs projects and (corporate) communication campaignsExperience in building and maintaining relationships with the following partners : Internal : colleagues within the corporate affairs function, business functionsExternal : third-party service providers, government and regulatory bodies, charities, NGOsFluent in English and PolishDesirable Bachelor’s degree in public affairs, communications, law or a related fieldUnderstanding role of media relations in Public & Government Affairs, including digital environmentUnderstanding specificity of Public / Government Affairs in digital environmentAt AstraZeneca, we're proud to have a unique workplace culture that inspires innovation and collaboration.
