The desired effect of your role within R&D Veeva Vault Platform team is to take accountability for delivering a 'Best in Class IT experience to Clinical, Regulatory & Quality Operations function managing across R&D IT within Development Operations Business Organization.
Role Overview :
AstraZeneca is looking for Veeva Vault IT Tech Lead to join the Platform team and implement, configure and maintain the R&D Vault suite of applications. Favorable candidates for this position will have IT experience, are technology-forward thinking, have implemented or use cloud-based software in the Content Management and Regulatory Processes.
This role requires to understand and work with the Veeva Vault Suite of Applications (i.e. : Clinical, Quality and Regulatory) and other AZ configured Integration Platforms such as MuleSoft, SnapLogic and GlobalScape to enable, automate and streamline end to end business processes, workflows configured within the Platform.
This role will contribute roadmaps, technology standards, technical design and delivery against the platform and associated resource capacity, and communication to leadership and stakeholders. You will be the expert in how this technology / platform is implemented and consumed in the business. In close collaboration with the architecture and capability teams you ensure that the solutions are up to date.
This Senior Platform Engineer role will be part of DevOps Platform team for across the globe, based out of one of key location. One will be contributing to monthly releases, Impact Analysis, Environment readiness and providing multiple resolution to a problem associated with Information Management.
As part of this role, one will be working with Cross Vault Product team to optimize the release approach to ensure alignment to Platform governance, set and lead the Release Schedule, and coordinate backlog management. Dependency, Risks between Upstream / Downstream Systems. Mitigate risks and issues that affect agreed release scope, schedule, and quality per Product Roadmaps.

- Act as a trusted Veeva Vault platform consultant and expert , providing guidance to IT and business stakeholders across Clinical, Regulatory, and Quality functions.
- Identify and leverage Cross-Vault synergies , promoting adoption of shared platform capabilities and features to streamline processes and enhance business value.
- Evaluate Veeva general releases, conduct assessments / POCs, and develop business cases for implementing new enhancements or configurations to align with enterprise needs.
- Proactively socialize unused or newly introduced platform features, driving awareness, and adoption across the organization.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $ 119,628 to $ 179,442. However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles) or to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles). Benefits offered included a qualified retirement program [401(k) plan]; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and, health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
