Key Responsibilities
Hardware Troubleshooting & Maintenance:
- Diagnose and repair server hardware, including CPUs, memory, storage drives, and network interfaces.
- Perform server builds, upgrades, and hardware replacement with precision and efficiency.
Operating System Troubleshooting:
- Support and troubleshoot OS issues on Windows, Linux, and other enterprise systems.
- Identify and resolve driver, boot, and configuration errors.
Application Support:
- Analyze and resolve application-level issues related to deployments, updates, and integrations.
- Collaborate with software teams to troubleshoot performance and connectivity problems.
Network Troubleshooting:
- Investigate and resolve network connectivity issues, including VLANs, IP conflicts, and cabling problems.
- Work closely with network engineers to support the configuration and maintenance of switches, routers, and firewalls.
Preventative Maintenance:
- Monitor data center equipment to ensure proper cooling, power distribution, and uptime.
- Execute regular system health checks and apply updates as needed.
Documentation & Process Adherence:
- Accurately document troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and system changes.
- Follow established operational procedures and recommend process improvements when necessary.
Qualifications
Required:
- CompTIA A Certification (minimum requirement to demonstrate foundational knowledge).
- At least 3 years of experience in troubleshooting hardware, OS, application, and network issues.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise server and network equipment in a data center or similar environment.
- Strong understanding of hardware diagnostics, operating system internals, and basic networking concepts.
- Ability to lift and install equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
Preferred:
- CompTIA Network Certification (a strong asset).
- Familiarity with hypervisors, RAID configurations, and virtualization platforms.
- Experience with monitoring tools, logging systems, and basic scripting (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
Salary Range
$17.42 - $27.51 USD (Hourly)- Please note that the salary information provided herein is base pay only (gross); it does not include other forms of compensation which may or may not apply to this specific position, namely, performance-based bonuses, benefits-related payments, or other general incentives - none of which are guaranteed, may be subject to specific eligibility requirements, and are wholly within the discretion of Astreya to remit.

Where an applicant or employee is placed on this range will depend and be contingent on objective, documented work-related considerations like education, experience, certifications, licenses, preferred qualifications, among other factors.
