Position Overview
Astria Therapeutics is dedicated to bringing hope with life-changing therapies to patients and families affected by allergic and immunological diseases. Astria’s pipeline includes our lead program, Navenibart, a monoclonal antibody inhibitor of plasma kallikrein in clinical development for the treatment of hereditary angioedema, as well as STAR-0310, an OX40 monoclonal antibody antagonist currently in pre-clinical development for atopic dermatitis (AD) and being explored for other allergic and immunological diseases.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Associate Director of IT, The IT Intern will help mentor Astria IT staff in general IT troubleshooting, IT Support, Tier 1 IT Break and Fix, and any other duties assigned and IT Projects. This internship is a great opportunity to learn and improve upon your IT Skills and prepare yourself for a career in IT as well as explore the many aspects of IT. We are looking for someone to be open to learn from highly skilled IT professionals with many years of experience and expand upon your customer service skills that are highly sought after. - Assist in managing IT infrastructure, including support for hardware, software, and network systems.
- Participate in facilities management tasks, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
- Support the implementation of new IT and facilities projects, contributing to project planning, execution, and monitoring.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their IT and facilities needs, offering timely and effective solutions.
- Help maintain IT and facilities documentation, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Engage in initiatives to enhance sustainability and efficiency within the IT and facilities operations.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Willingness to learn new skills and put them into practice.
- A good grasp of IT skills, (don’t worry we can help teach you)
- Good Communication Skills
- Ability to be on site 4 days a week 9-5pm
- Ability to lift up-to 45 Lbs. of equipment.
- Ability to move and set up Office Equipment and work under desks and tight spaces.
