We are seeking a Senior Manager, Investor Relations to support Corporate Affairs in furthering our mission and strategy through the development and execution of our Investor Relations objectives. This person will be a strong collaborator across the organization and external relationships with the investment community. This role will also include active monitoring of analyst research while partnering with our communications team to ensure message pull through and content accuracy.

Responsibilities
- Drive an active IR calendar including planning, logistics, and execution of investor conferences, programs, non-deal roadshows, meetings, and other investor events.
- Prepare quarterly earnings materials including press releases, presentations, and conference call scripts ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with Astria messaging. Role will require a significant amount of writing initial draft materials for investor communications.
- Support organization of news events and corporate updates.
- Provide analytics and tracking to provide updates on changes to shareholder base, peer performance, and capital market trends.
- Partner with Competitive Intelligence to closely track disease area news and developments to communicate effectively on relevant topics and anticipate and address investor and analyst questions.
- Organize updates and review of messaging documents by key topics and audiences.
- Monitor company-specific and industry-wide sell-side research including scientific content and financial model updates.
- Maintain our corporate Q&A documents.
- Develop and maintain Corporate Presentation in collaboration with Corporate Affairs.
- Maintain and update the Investor Relations section of corporate website to reflect up-to-date information.
- Prepare background information for key spokespeople in advance of investor meetings. Proactively plan to address key investor areas of interest and craft strategies for questions.
- Be an expert user of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool to build reports and analyze data.
- Collaborate with key internal stakeholders (Communications, Finance, Legal, etc.) and assist in managing external agency and vendor relationships.
- Support in the preparation and execution of quarterly and annual reporting processes, including the Annual Shareholders’ Meeting, in close collaboration with the Legal and Finance teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Communications, or Biology/Chemistry degree with some communications or financial services experience is preferred.
- At least 5 years professional experience in investor relations, equity research, investment banking, or a similar role. Preference for at least 2 years of Investor Relations at a life sciences company.
- Biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or life science experience is required.
- Demonstrated success in creating consistent company specific Investor relations messaging for the investment community.
- Capital markets acumen, including rules and regulations of publicly traded companies highly desirable.
- Demonstrated excellence in verbal and written communication, messaging, and development of presentations with the ability distill complex scientific and financial information for diverse audiences.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, draw insights, and make data-driven recommendations.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel abilities and fluency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Strong client service focus and ability to work independently and in teams, as well as excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize.
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
