Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Network Engineer to support the Air Force Intranet Control (AFINC) program, which is within the C3I and Infrastructure Division (AFLCMC / HNI) and located at Hanscom AFB, MA.
The AFINC program is the top-level boundary and entry point into the Air Force Information Network (AFIN), and controls the flow of all external and inter-base traffic through standard, centrally managed Air Force Gateways and Joint Regional Security Stacks.
LOCATION : Hanscom, AFB, MA
JOB STATUS : Full-Time; salaried
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Bachelor's degree and 8 years of technical network experience, 3 of which must be DoD
- MUST have an active US security clearance
- MUST be a US citizen
RESPONSBILITIES :
The candidate shall advise and support work that involves the planning, analysis, design, development, testing, quality assurance, configuration, installation, implementation, integration, maintenance, and / or management of networked systems used for the transmission of information in voice, data, and / or video formats.
