Overview
Astrion is seeking a PM C-UAS Liaison Officer to serve as the lead Army C-UAS and C-UAS Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) representative for US Army Central (USARCENT), US Army European Command (EUCOM), or US Army AFRICA (AFRICOM) and subordinate organizations.
Responsibilities:
- Advise deployed US military and civilian leadership on all matters pertaining to PM C-UAS systems, their capabilities, and their integration with other Army C-UAS System of Systems.
- Coordinate with, and provide information to, other Joint and Combined C-UAS team members, as security release authority permits.
- Participate in, and provide feedback and staff products for all C-UAS related staff meetings as requested.
- Serve as an additional information conduit between PM C-UAS and the deployed unit Leadership, and MACOM C-UAS Leadership.
- Work with, and in support of, PM C-UAS Logistics Lead (FWD), and provide accurate and timely updates not less than weekly to PM C-UAS Logistics, and PM C-UAS Leadership.
- Assist C/J TFs with determining and aligning personnel requirements to the in-flow of PM C-UAS systems into the theater.
- Act as Army C-UAS Liaison to USAREUR-AF AMD leadership and must ensure unity of position with the Army Staff and PM C-UAS.
- Work in concert with C5ISR GOST personnel in Theater and provides oversight and guidance to the Army C-UAS Mobile Training Team and provides support and mentorship to the Army C-UAS MTT Senior Trainer and aids in resolution of issues as required.
- All other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Must currently possess an active and transferable DoD SECRET security clearance or higher.
- Must be able to obtain any required documents and/or credentials necessary for OCONUS deployment.
- Be prepared to deploy greater than 60% of time; minimum standard is 50% travel.
- Must be able to obtain CRC clearance eligibility for OCONUS deployment.
- Bachelor’s degree with 18 years
- Desired master’s degree and 10 years relevant work experience; substitutions may be allowed.
- Previous work experience supporting C-UAS programs.
- Previous experience as SETA or similar capacity.
- Develop strong working relationships with C-UAS personnel and management.
- Ability to manage complex projects and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- OCONUS travel is required; may be deployed for extended periods.
- CONUS travel also be required.
- Must be willing and able to meet all travel requirements of this position.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
