ASTRION has an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager, Special Program Division (SPD), in support of the ARMY Division.
JOB DETAILS
LOCATION: Dugway Proving Ground, UT
JOB STATUS: Full-time
TRAVEL: Estimated at 10%
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
- SECURITY CLEARANCE: Top Secret
- EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in science or engineering from an accredited university or equivalent combination of education and military experience.
- EXPERIENCE LEVEL:
- A minimum of five (5) years of project management experience managing large programs, including:
- Schedule and cost tracking.
- Reporting and communication with customers.
- Expertise in reviewing CWOs requirements and performing TIPs.
- Proficiency in providing technical expertise for the design and execution of training and testing programs.
- Proven experience in coordinating and executing training and testing programs.
- Ability to serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in presenting operational and technical matters through presentations and practical demonstrations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage resources and coordinate efforts across multiple organizations.
- Proficiency in executing multiple technical directives.
- Experience in developing and managing work breakdown structures (WBS) and applying earned value management (EVM).
- A minimum of five (5) years of project management experience managing large programs, including:
- ADDITIONAL:
- Must be proficient in using MS Project or similar project management software.
- Must be competent in basic computer software (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.).
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage large programs by overseeing schedules, costs, and customer communications.
- Review CWOs requirements and conduct TIPs to ensure alignment with project needs.
- Provide technical expertise for the planning, design, and execution of training and testing programs.
- Coordinate and execute training and testing programs effectively.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) by delivering clear, concise presentations and practical demonstrations of operational and technical topics.
- Manage resources efficiently to support program objectives and coordinate efforts across multiple organizations.
- Execute technical directives and track progress to meet project goals.
- Develop and manage work breakdown structures and apply earned value management to ensure project success.
