What are your specific duties? - The Senior Missile Defense Engineer will support the Missile Defense Agency Director of Engineering Quick Reaction Team (QRT). The candidate will provide engineering and technical analysis expertise.

What are your specific duties? - The Senior Missile Defense Engineer will support the Missile Defense Agency Director of Engineering Quick Reaction Team (QRT). The candidate will provide engineering and technical analysis expertise.
Responsibilities Include
- Conduct studies, analyses, and document reviews including quick response taskings, special studies, and joint studies with external partners.
- Conduct performance modeling and assist with analyzing strategic and regional missions against potential future adversaries, and provide assessments including launch area denied and raid capacity.
- Assist with developing analysis reports and products including defended area maps, probability of engagement success, raid capacity plots, and depth of fire plots.
- Review technical products to ensure technical accuracy consistency throughout the Agency.
- Conduct analyses to find causes of technical discrepancies in MDS technical performance, and benchmark information.
- Conduct analyses and comparative trade studies. This includes developing tools and preparing assessments, analyses, inquiry responses, recommendations, papers, briefings, and reports.
- Education: Master’s degree in a STEM related field
- Experience: 12 years of relevant experience
- Active DoD Secret security clearance, which requires US Citizenship
- Strong technical writing and editing experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong technical writing and editing experience
- Previous MDA experience
- Knowledge of MDA systems engineering processes
- Knowledge of ballistic, cruise, and hypersonic missile defense fundamentals
- Experience and confidence in interacting with senior technical leadership
