Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Systems Engineer to support the All Domain Common Platform (ADCP) program, which is within the USAF Kessel Run Division and located at Hanscom AFB, MA.

At Kessel Run (KR), architecture — application, platform, data, integration, and security — is paramount. Our applications need to be highly operationally secure, available, and effective 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

JOB STATUS: Full time - salaried

Responsibilities

• Preparation of technical requirements/documentation in support of acquisitions.
• Technical team support for source selections and technical evaluations of contractor/vendor proposals
• Program/unit self-inspections and compliance with EN-focused policy, directives, instructions (MICT checklist assessment)
• Developing and documenting All Domain Common Platform (ADCP) EN processes
• Responding to reporting and taskers affecting the EN functional area
• Provide assistance to the Chief Platform Architect in developing ADCP architectures and associated models/diagrams/artifacts.
• Support the planning and execution of ADCP program and technical reviews and roadmap development.
  
  

Qualifications

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen

Clearance: Must have an active US security clearance

Education: BA/BS Degree

Years of Experience: 10 years of directly related experience with 5 years of experience in a DoD setting

• Cloud and Kubernetes architecture knowledge, to include AWS and AWS infrastructure
• Understanding of Terraform, Infrastructure as Code
• Experience in aggregating all of our architecture drawings into a full diagrams for all our systems - Lucid is the tool that used, but experience with MS Visio should provide the basic skills that they need to shift to using Lucid
• Knowledge of Cameo and work with MITRE who is trying to create all the architecture
• Other duty responsibilities include backing up the Platform Architecture Chief in meetings and other forums
