Food Scientist
We are seeking a passionate and innovative Food Scientist to join our Research and Development (R&D) team. The ideal candidate will blend culinary creativity with food science expertise to develop new food products, improve existing formulations, and ensure that products developed for customers meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards. Will be a key contributor to the creation of unique, market-ready food products and the advancement of our value-added services to our customers and suppliers.
- Collaborate with R&D, marketing, and production teams to conceptualize and develop new food products that align with consumer trends and company objectives.
- Apply culinary techniques to create prototypes that emphasize flavor, texture, and visual appeal.
- Develop and refine product formulations to meet functional, nutritional, and sensory targets.
- Conduct sensory evaluations and use feedback to enhance recipes.
- Test product stability, shelf life, and scalability for mass production.
- Stay up to date on culinary trends, ingredients, and cooking techniques to inspire innovative product ideas.
- Experiment with novel ingredients and technologies to create cutting-edge food solutions.
- Maintain detailed records of formulations, test results, and processes.
- Ensure all products comply with food safety regulations, labeling requirements, and company standards.
- Partner with quality assurance, production, and procurement teams to transition prototypes into scalable manufacturing processes.
- Participate in customer presentations and tastings, showcasing culinary expertise.
