Responsibilities:
- Work with Sales, Marketing, and Vendors to shape product ideas.
- Collaborate with Operations, Quality, and Regulatory teams to set specs and launch products.
- Review packaging for accuracy (ingredients, claims, compliance).
- Assist with formula development and ingredient analysis.
- Perform quality tests using in-house and third-party labs.
- Track trends in pet and consumer markets.
- Suggest new products and product improvements.
- Keep up-to-date with FDA, USDA, and AAFCO regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or related field.
- Experience in food manufacturing.
- Knowledge of food regulations.
- Strong data analysis skills.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive.
- Excellent communication skills.
