About the Opportunity
This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with a competitive hourly rate of $19-$20 per hour.
The ideal candidate will have experience in hazardous waste disposal, a strong understanding of regulatory requirements, and excellent physical abilities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the collection, transportation, and handling of hazardous waste at customer sites.
- Prepare and ship hazardous waste for recycling or disposal.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
- Verify the accuracy of paperwork related to hazardous waste shipping.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in hazardous waste disposal
- Knowledge of DOT, OSHA, and EPA regulations
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work safely
- Pass a physical test and drug screen
