The Research Assistant will support preclinical studies at all stages conducted through the execution of cardiac, behavioral, and muscle-based functional outcomes to characterize rodent models and assist in testing drug efficacy. Outcomes will need to be performed in accordance with SOPs and per study specifications. Additionally, the Research Assistant will need to demonstrate proficiency in rodent handling._

Requirements :
Associate or bachelors degree, scientific field preferred.
Passionate about animal welfare.
Experience in laboratory animal handling and restraint techniques.
Ability to work as part of a team with organizational skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
Strong documentation skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and ability to follow verbal instructions.
Strong understanding and ability to follow laboratory methods and SOPs?.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Supports Animal Outcomes staff in setting up and performing outcomes, including QCing and inputting data.
Assist in ordering and stocking inventory and perform routine equipment cleaning and maintenance.
Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Study Protocols.
Document with strict adherence to Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
Humanely and confidently handling rodents.
