Seeking an IT Support Analyst for our client - a prominent global medical device manufacturing organization and a leader in the industry!
Type : Contract
Location : Fairfield County, CT (100% onsite)
Rate : $25 - $28 / hr
Duties :
Handles incoming calls and electronic requests from internal customers, efficiently addressing their concerns.
Records and tracks all support incidents in the IT Service Management system.
Delivers first-line support to resolve issues at the service desk before escalating to relevant IT or business teams.
Troubleshoots and resolves software and hardware issues.
Complies with established policies and procedures.
Ensures prompt resolution or proper escalation of tickets, providing regular updates to internal customers.
Responds to customer issues or requests in a professional manner.
Provides user support in complex, virtualized global environments.
Participates in after-hours support rotation.
Performs additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
Degree in the field of computer information systems and / or relevant work experience.
2 years equivalent work experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience), with hands on hardware troubleshooting experience.
Extensive equipment support experience with laptops, desktops, mobile devices, etc.
In-depth technical knowledge of client computing hardware and software, including operating systems, applications, web browsers, and utility tools such as anti-virus, file management, and deployment software.
Familiarity with current protocols, operating systems, and industry standards.
