Our client is a global, research-driven pharmaceutical focusing on treatment options for diseases and conditions for which there is no satisfactory treatment option to date. 23 / hr-$28 / hr
Responsibilities :
Provide care and enrichment for routine and specialized animal colonies.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of animal facilities and equipment, including cage preparation and sanitization.
Handle and restrain laboratory animals, conducting regular observations and reporting any abnormal findings.
Document all tasks accurately and in a timely manner, adhering to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Assist in training new team members on animal care and facility operations.
Operate and maintain animal facility equipment, such as cage washers and environmental monitoring tools.
Participate in quality reviews of animal care records and assist in identifying improvements in processes and technologies.
Qualifications :
High School Diploma or equivalent with at least 2 years of experience in an animal research facility or veterinary practice; Associates or Bachelors degree in Animal Science preferred.
AALAS certification is highly desirable.
Basic computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow protocols strictly.
