Calibrate plant and lab equipment (thermometers, scales).
Verify plant temperatures and equipment calibration.
Ensure product and process compliance through reviews and inspections.
Perform HACCP verifications, metal detector checks, and inventory rotation reviews.
Approve labels and reconcile QA / QC records.
Prepare HOLD reports, manage documentation, and compile reports.
Coordinate with USDA inspectors; suggest corrective and preventive actions.
Audit employee hygiene and recommend sanitation improvements.
Assist QA Manager with continuous improvement and corrective actions.
Train employees on hygienic handling and sanitation requirements (HACCP, SSOP, GMP).
Maintain inspection records and provide reports.
Qualifications :
HS Diploma or GED, with 2 years of food manufacturing experience.
Experience with sanitation checks and product / process quality evaluation.
Ability to recommend and implement improvements in product, process, and sanitation.
