As a Staff Firmware Engineer , you will design, prototype, and verify firmware for advanced electrical systems, working closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities
Develop and debug firmware and electronic systems compliant with IEC 62304 and medical device standards .
Create verification test protocols, execute tests, and document results .
Ensure firmware meets regulatory, safety, and quality requirements .
Analyze and solve complex firmware engineering challenges.
Collaborate with engineers, consultants, and stakeholders to drive project success.
Qualifications
5 years of firmware development experience, preferably in medical devices.
Proficiency in C / C , state machines, and hardware / software integration .
Experience with USB, SPI, I2C, UART, GPIO, and control algorithms (PID, filters, etc.) .
Strong debugging skills with tools like Altium Schematic Capture .
Hands-on experience with circuit design, soldering, and prototyping .
Work Environment
Hybrid schedule : 3-4 days onsite per week.
Lab work involving electrical equipment, debugging, and testing .
Occasional travel for meetings, vendor visits, and training.
