Our esteemed client, a trailblazing global pharmaceutical powerhouse, renowned for their expertise in developing and manufacturing a wide array of world-class pharmaceutical drugs, life-saving vaccines, and innovative animal-health products, is in search of an exceptional Assistant Scientist to join their dynamic team.
Shift: Monday-Friday 1st shift (8a-5p)
Pay: $29-$32/hr
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree/Master's degree in a Relevant Biological Area (Bacteriology, Biology, Genetics, Immunology, Microbiology, Virology).
- 3 years’ bench level laboratory experience in the Animal Health industry, preferably in an analytical support role or R&D.
- Proficient in technical writing and use of Microsoft programs (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Must have experience with ELISA and virus titrations
- At least 1 year of Quality Control experience preferred
Responsibilities:
- Performs method improvement lab activities across multiple test platforms including live virus and bacterial titrations, hemagglutination assays, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays (ELISAs)
- Prepares and/or audits in vitro test data for statistical analysis
- Assists in the preparation of protocols or reports for submission to regulatory authorities
- Supports local, regional, and global program initiatives as assigned
- Adheres to good documentation practices, including data integrity standards
