We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Chemist to support laboratory operations through high-level analytical testing and method validation. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with chromatography techniques and a strong ability to troubleshoot and maintain laboratory instruments. This role is essential for ensuring accurate analysis, compliance with regulatory standards, and continuous improvements in analytical methodologies.
Pay: $30-$36/hr
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine and non-routine chemical analysis using HPLC, GC, and other analytical instrumentation.
- Develop, validate, and optimize analytical test methods in accordance with industry standards.
- Analyze data and prepare detailed reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Troubleshoot, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments to ensure optimal performance.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to support research, quality control, and product development.
- Ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and safety regulations.
- Maintain comprehensive records and documentation in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Stay updated with emerging analytical techniques and advancements in chromatography and other instrumental methods.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with HPLC and GC in a quality control, pharmaceutical, or industrial laboratory setting.
- Strong knowledge of analytical techniques, method validation, and troubleshooting of laboratory instrumentation.
- Familiarity with regulatory guidelines such as FDA, USP, ICH, and cGMP is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong documentation and data interpretation skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
