We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Document Control - FSQR Specialist to join our team in a dynamic food manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining all FSQR documentation, ensuring compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory standards. The FSQR Specialist will work closely with cross-functional teams to supporting the efficient operation of our manufacturing processes!
Schedule: M-F 1st shift
Salary: 60K-75K DOE (not including annual bonus!)
Responsibilities
- Maintain the document control system to ensure proper storage, tracking, and retrieval of FSQR documents.
- Ensure that all FSQR documents (e.g., Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions, HACCP plans, Quality Control forms, and certifications) are in compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Review, update, and distribute FSQR documents to relevant departments, ensuring they are kept current with industry standards and legal regulations.
- Review Certificates of Analysis (COA) for incoming ingredients (vs specifications) and approve ingredients for use.
- Manage change request process.
- Participate in internal and external audits to ensure proper document management and adherence to quality standards.
- Assist in preparing for regulatory inspections, audits, and third-party certifications, providing requested documentation as necessary.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree Preferred in Food Science or related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in food safety, quality assurance, or document control in a food manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards such as FDA, cGMPs, USDA, HACCP, ISO, and SQF certification programs.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations (Halal, Kosher, organics) and quality standards.
Salary : $60,000 - $75,000
