Our personal care client is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join their team in Passaic County. You will work closely with scientists and product development teams to perform experiments, maintain lab equipment, and support various testing activities related to product performance and safety.
Pay: $22-$25/hr

Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and formulation of personal care products, such as skincare, haircare, and cosmetics.
- Perform routine lab tests including stability, pH, viscosity, texture, and sensory evaluations to ensure product quality.
- Assist in the preparation of testing protocols, experimental setups, and documentation of results.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all testing activities, adhering to company standards and regulatory guidelines.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments, ensuring proper calibration and cleanliness.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations within the laboratory.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related field.
- Experience in a laboratory setting, preferably within the personal care, cosmetics, or pharmaceuticals industry.
- Familiarity with laboratory testing techniques and equipment (e.g., pH meters, viscometers, microscopes).
