Job Description:
Our client is a global, research-driven pharmaceutical focusing on treatment options for diseases and conditions for which there is no satisfactory treatment option to date. The company is looking for a Maintenance Planner/Scheduler to coordinate and schedule maintenance activities across operations, maintenance, engineering, and contractors. The role focuses on optimizing wrench time, minimizing downtime, and ensuring all necessary resources are available for effective work execution. Pay: Up to $50/hr
Shift: 1st
Location: Fremont, CA
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate maintenance work between teams, contractors, and departments.
- Plan future work to maximize workforce efficiency and minimize delays.
- Ensure all required resources (parts, tools, manpower, permits) are available and prepared in advance.
- Develop and update work plans based on requests and site inspections.
- Estimate work efforts, man-hours, material costs, and durations.
- Monitor work progress and revise plans as needed to improve future maintenance.
- Ensure proper maintenance of the CMMS system, preventive maintenance schedules, and storeroom efficiency.
- Interface with various departments to manage parts procurement, service agreements, and equipment efficiency.
Job Requirements:
- AS/AA degree in Engineering, Maintenance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 4 years of manufacturing experience, with a focus on maintenance.
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with CMMS and ERP systems (Maximo, Oracle, SAP).
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with KPI analysis and maintenance system management.
- Knowledge of equipment lifecycle and inventory control.
