Astrix is seeking a talented Mechanical Design Leader to lead our team of engineers in the design and development of complex electromechanical systems.
In this role, you will be responsible for defining and overseeing design inputs and verification strategies, as well as collaborating effectively with multi-disciplinary teams to meet project goals and timelines.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all designs comply with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams to meet project goals and timelines.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance to team members, interns, and junior engineers on design control processes and best practices.
The ideal candidate will have a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with 7 years of experience in development of complex electrical systems in the medical device industry. A good track record in launching complex electromechanical devices to production is also essential.
