Job Title: Production Lead
Location: Torrance, CA
Salary: $80K-$115k
Overview:
This role provides technical leadership and support in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment, ensuring compliance with cGMPs. Responsibilities include guiding a team, troubleshooting equipment, reviewing documentation, and improving operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Support all production stages (e.g., synthesis, purification, lyophilization, in-process testing).
- Train team members on equipment, SOPs, and processes.
- Operate and maintain scientific manufacturing equipment (e.g., HPLC, lyophilizers).
- Ensure team members adhere to scheduling, breaks, and accurate timekeeping.
- Review BPRs, SOPs, and quality documents.
- Lead quality investigations (e.g., Deviations, CAPA) and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure smooth shift transitions and communicate production updates.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, or similar.
- 4-6 years in pharmaceutical manufacturing (1-2 years in cGMP preferred).
- Familiarity with HPLC, analytical methods, and hazardous materials.
- Strong computer skills (SAP preferred).
