Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QC Microbiologist to join their pharmaceutical production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting microbiological testing, monitoring environmental conditions, and ensuring compliance with cGMP regulations to maintain the highest standards of product quality and safety.

Shift: 2nd shift
Pay: $30-34/hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform environmental monitoring in controlled and aseptic manufacturing environments, including air sampling, surface testing, and personnel monitoring.
- Conduct microbiological testing, including bacterial endotoxin testing, bioburden, microbial limit tests, growth promotion, and gram staining.
- Monitor pharmaceutical water systems (WFI, RO, PW, CS) and compressed air/nitrogen gas systems for microbial contamination.
- Utilize and maintain air sampling EM equipment (e.g., Airldeal, HACH Met Ones 3440 Series, Lasair III, MiniCapt).
- Document and analyze test results using Microsoft Excel and Word, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Investigate out-of-specification (OOS) results and deviations, assisting in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Adhere to cGMP, FDA, and company protocols to ensure quality and regulatory compliance.
- Participate in audits and inspections by regulatory agencies and internal quality teams.
- Maintain a clean and sterile laboratory environment, following strict aseptic techniques.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production and quality assurance initiatives.
Key Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biology, or a related scientific field.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in a cGMP pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience with environmental monitoring, microbiological testing, and aseptic processing.
