Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily sterility operations, ensuring adherence to regulatory and company standards, with a focus on maintaining a cleanroom environment.
- Supervise, train, and mentor a team of sterility technicians, providing critical feedback, coaching, and development.
- Lead efforts in process improvements, including updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and optimizing laboratory workflows.
- Investigate non-conformances and implement corrective actions to address issues and prevent recurrence.
- Ensure sterility testing is performed accurately and efficiently in a microbiology-based environment.
- Maintain and operate sterility testing equipment, including autoclaves, and other laboratory devices.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology or Chemistry, or an MT (Medical Technologist) certification.
- Minimum of 4 years of laboratory experience, including at least 4 years in a CLIA-certified environment.
- Strong background in microbiology, cleanroom operations, and laboratory regulatory compliance.
- Proven experience with SOP writing and implementing process improvements.
- Investigational experience with non-conformances and corrective actions.
