QA Inspector- 1st shift

We are looking for a QA inspector to join a rapidly growing pharmaceutical and personal care manufacturing company in San Bernadino County, CA! You would be responsible for inspecting and evaluating personal care products, checking samples in-progress, and observing/inspecting procedure policies.

Type of Job: Temp-hire
Shift: 1st shift (5 a.m. start)
Location: Pomona, CA
Pay rate range: $20-24/hr.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct visual and functional inspections in-process of personal care items such as creams, lotions, shampoos, and other items to identify defects in product.
• Maintain accurate records of inspection results, including type of defects, quantities, and any other relevant data.
• Report product that is out of spec (OOS) and assist in investigations.
• Ensure the inspection area and equipment is well-maintained and organized efficient and accurate inspections.
• Ensure that all personal care products comply with industry regulations and standards, such as FDA guidelines, and work towards continuous improvement in meeting these requirements.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to identify areas for process improvement and implement corrective actions to prevent defects and non-conformities.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a QC Inspector in a GMP regulated environment (in raw materials preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify defects or deviations in product quality.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to assist in process improvement and root cause analysis.
